Answers to common queries...

  • Location: Echo Prints is based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States. My 'studio workspace' mainly functions as my kitchen and dining room. Echo Prints is a truly small home business!  In between printing sessions my home is back to normal uses.
  • Discounts for multiple cards: Yes, I often offer discounts for multiple cards when purchased locally. For online orders, shipping is free for orders over $50.
  • Local pickup: If you're in Pittsburgh, PA, local pickup options may be available for your echoprints.net order. Please contact me, Tracy, directly via email to arrange this.
  • Card interiors: Each Echo Print card has a blank sheet of parchment paper, cut to size, tucked inside the card for writing purposes. The botanical prints are absorbed into the paper, often leaving a ghost image on the underside of each print. Therefore, when the card folded with the Echo Print on the front, the inside of the card showcases the lovely  'ghost print'. Sometimes the botanicals and papers are layered so that both the inside and outside of cards are printed, with the 'ghost prints' merging beautifully!
  • Card size & framing: Echo Print cards are mostly available in two sizes: 5" x 7" and 4" x 6".  Cards are designed to fit standard envelopes, as well as frame or mat sizes, making them perfect for display. Bookmarks and tags are various sizes. Occasionally, cards will be differently sized, depending on how envelopes are sourced. For example: currently I have a few 5" x 5" Echo Print cards because I was given new and unused  5" x 5" envelopes.
  • Originals vs. prints: Each Echo Print is an original work of art, the 'printing' is the art! Currently, I do not make copies/prints of my original Echo Prints.
  • Supply sourcing: All botanicals are hand foraged, by myself. Paper and envelopes are sometimes thrifted or gifted, but always in new condition. I like to reduce-reuse-recycle! My local friends also help me to source paper and envelopes. If retail purchase is necessary I will order from an online source or purchase from local office supply store. I am open to ideas for eco-friendly paper sourcing.
