When I share my Echo Print cards at live event I always like to open a card for visitors. There is often a little gasp of surprise when a new customer sees that the inside of the card is completely different from the front or the back!
I normally add different leaves, flowers, and colored card stock to the center of a card which results in that "ta da" moment. Even with my most practiced planning, I am often the one who gasps when I rinse the plants off the paper and the image is revealed! My hope is always that at least two of the surfaces on each card will leave the recipient of the card having a hard time deciding which to frame...unless of course they cut it down the middle and frame both, or have fun scrapbooking with these lovely images.
I also sign each Echo Print. I jot down (in erasable pencil) what botanicals were used in the producing of an image. When I do so, I take a few moments to ponder which surface will be the one that is least likely to be the framed part. ONCE in a rare while, I simply cannot decide, and will jot the botanicals on a separate slip of paper. These "I will never get THAT again!!" prints, I value a bit more... for they are harder to part with.
I only wish I could see your expression when you open my cards!
